My First Makeup Haul: E.L.F EyesLipsFace Products

Again, I am the queen of bargains: so I ordered everything from E.L.F (eyeslipsface.com)

Let’s start off with delivery quality: my order came in less than five days, pro. My order was missing some items, con.

e.l.f. Essential Therapeutic Conditioning Lip Balm

 the lip balm was actually great, it cost me a dollar, but it was very soft and actually conditioned my winter lips ::eek, winter lips::

e.l.f. Essential Eye Widener

You know, it works as a simple white eyeliner. I just wish the sharpener top actually fit the pencil, because now I have a huge dent in the white “lead” due to the cap falling off then falling back on top of it and ruining the shape in my makeup bag…good thing the top is a sharpener I guess?

 e.l.f. Essential Natural Lash Kit

 I have the same complaint about this item as everyone else: GIVE ME GLUE THAT DOESNT FEEL LIKE PEBBLES. ugh, nothing is more frustrating than seeing a cute pair of lashes, and no glue to stick them with … honestly E.L.F save yourself the trouble and just make cute lashes, don’t even include the glue… that way people just say you have cute lashes and not complain about your glue making skills.

e.l.f. Essential All Over Cover Stick in Spice

I was probably most excited about this because I really needed a concealer and this looked perfect. WRONG . first it was the size of a strawberry…second the actual concealer part fell out of its container after i tried twisting it out vigorously and saw that the twist out pusher wasn’t working…third it was wayyyy to light and then i bought the next one down too (Toffee) just in case, and it was wayyy to dark, please make a happy medium e.l.f (spicy toffee?)

e.l.f. Mineral Booster

Hmm..this one’s tough, because I use it sometimes, and its mostly my head telling me that my skin has been minerally boosted. In all honesty, I don’t see a difference…maybe I’m using it incorrectly?

e.l.f. Studio Eye Primer & Liner Sealer

Kudos on this product. I haven’t used the liner sealer yet, because something tells me that whatever eyeshadow I use to convert as a eyeliner is gonna be really hard to wash out from this product, but I use the eye primer alllllllllll the time !

OUCH! the mini eye curler pinched my eyelids..and was wayyyyy to small..but thats a mistake on my behalf, i should have bought the full sized ones..i just thought I have small eyes, maybe the mini eyelash curler is what I need….NOT!

I guess I was too dark for this product..I have some uneven skin tones, and I thought this product would do the trick for me, but it didn’t. BUT! I gave it to one of my friends is who VERY fair skinned, and it worked wonders on her, so if you’re light skinned- don’t turn this product down!

The reviews are great. The product description was enticing. I wish the 2 packages of it that I ordered came with my package -_-

e.l.f. Studio 11 Piece Brush Collections

Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes. I got it during a sale so it was only 15 bucks instead of 30, but absolutely I suggest any girl starting off with their makeup world to buy this! You’ll see with time your brush preferences, but I do trust elf in making brushes, and i will be buying some brushes that are outside of this set! I even bought the little brush holder, shampoo, and cleaning spray and they all work greatly! (plus I use that pouch to place all of my mascara and holds up well.

e.l.f. Essential Eyelid Primer

Again, a big thumbs up for this product. Dab it on your finger as opposed to applying it with the brush, since the brush might pack on too much to your eye, causing creasing later on in the day of your eyeshadow.

e.l.f. Studio Concealer

 I liked this concealer  a lot !! I mean.. I had to wrap it plastic because the little bit of concealer fell out the container, but I still held on to it…until it rolled under my desk, then… r.i.p ..hopefully next time elf doesn’t send me products that fall out the container

e.l.f. Essential Zit Zapper

I know the formula is nothing special: probably just some witch hazel and some oils, but my friends and I LOVE THIS PRODUCT: the easy roll on application is amazing, and it really works, like actually, i love it. Once you feel that a pimple is about to grow, WAM lay on that Zit Zapper…and the bump is gone the next day.

e.l.f. Studio Endless Eyes Pro Eyeshadow Palette

I bought this for my friend, but I too have an eyeshadow palette from ELF. The colors are great and varied… but they don’t stick much so you have to do a lot of coats of them, and they are very loose, so you waste a lot … I’ll stick to another eyeshadow palette, OR i’ll try out their individual shadows and see how they work.

e.l.f. Studio Body Glow

I support it. It’s glittery, it gets the job done for night time events, or for a special occasion during the daytime (please use LIGHTLY during the day, please)

And that concludes my ELF Haul…I also bought the Nail block(great, but only for one time usage), the toe separators (do their job), the travel mirror (great cheap compact mirror), the shine eraser (great skin blotting paper), and the nail polish (in clear, nude, pink, and red and theyre all good ..they last about two days before chipping though, but they have great color choices)

So will I order from ELF again, YES, but after a second chance, I hope they don’t disappoint me! Shoot me a message or comment on this with any products you would like me to test/review, I have a bunch of mascaras in my makeup-bag as well as eyeliners and blushes/bronzers.
